Shipping Policy

Each print is produced based on the custom specifications requested by the customer in their order such as print size, type of paper and specific mounting options. Prints will be ordered with the photography lab within 2 business days of receipt of a customer order and is expected to be produced within 3-5 business days. All completed customer orders will be dropped shipped to the mailing address on the order from the photography lab.

Due to the customization, occasionally select items may require additional time and you will be notified in advance via email of any such delays. Different items on the same order could be shipped at a different time. Please do not be concerned if one package arrives prior to receipt of the entire order. Email confirmations will be sent as packages are shipped and will include tracking numbers when available. Credit cards are process at time of shipment.

Our primary carriers are FedEx and UPS, although other carriers may be used based on package and shipping location. Therefore, our customers do not get to choose carrier of choice. Oversized items may take special shipping arrangements and a carrier will contact you to arrange for delivery. Please be considerate to respond promptly to the freight carriers as to not incur storage charges for your products. If delivery appointment is missed, customer may be charged a redelivery fee that could range from $10-$150 and will be dependent on the freight carrier.

Refused delivery of or return of a non-defective, undamaged item customer is responsible for return shipping fees as well as a restocking fee of 25% plus the cost of a gator board or metal mounting, if applicable, of the item’s price.

Customized Products

All orders are customized and may not be cancelled after 24 hour from placing the order. We will gladly replace an item within 30 days if it is considered damaged, defective, or an error was made on our part while filling the order.

Returns

We want you to be completely satisfied with your art from Art by Samuel. Each print is produced based on the custom specifications and considered a customized product, therefore; some rules do apply to returns.

Please contact us at returns@artbysameul.com before returning any prints for return instructions. Returns sent with no prior approval from our customer service department will be returned to sender.

In the event a print needs to be replaced, the return of the original print must be received by Art by Samuel within 30 days from the initiated return date or your account will be charged full price for the replacement item.

With all orders, please carefully inspect your package for any damage or defects upon delivery. If you notice damage or a defective print you must note them on the shipping receipt and refuse the delivery.

Products Returned After 30 days

For items returned after 30 days, Art by Samuel will grant a credit of up to 50% of the item’s value, less the original and return shipping charges.

Please note that it takes us 7 to 10 business days to process returns once they arrive at our Returns Center.

Refunds

Art by Samuel may issue a full or partial refund for an order. To be eligible for a refund, you must return the print in the same condition you received it, and the return must be postmarked within 30 days of shipment. All returned prints will be inspected for a return to be awarded.

If you receive an item different than what was described, damaged or defective, you may return the item (within 30 days of receiving the shipment). Please email our customer service at returns@artbysameul.com with your name, order number, approximate date of the purchase, and reason for return and we will contact you with return instructions. When arranging a return, please be as descriptive as possible regarding the problem with the order. If the return is a result of our error, defect or damage during shipping we will refund the full cost of the print and shipping charges.

If returning an item for reasons other than defect, damaged or incorrect item received, the following charges will not be refundable and will be subtracted from any refunds:

- shipping charges,
– the cost of mounting on gator board or metal, if applicable, and
– a processing fee of 25% of the original cost of the print.

You can expect to receive your refund within four weeks of shipping your print back to us. In many cases this will be sooner, but processing times may vary. We will notify you via email with the details of your refund, and issue your refund in the form of payment used to make your purchase.

Partial Refunds

Partial Refunds will be issued for the following items:

- Prints returned for reasons other than defect, damaged or incorrect image or size due to our error
– Most items that are returned more than 30 days after delivery
– Any item that has obvious signs of use
– Any item not returned in the condition it was received.

Exchanges

If you received a faulty item and need to exchange it for the same item please contact Art by Samuel via email returns@artbysamuel.com and include the following information: First name, last name, order number, and email address.

This information must be identical to the information originally submitted on your order. Please provide contact information so that we may contact you.

Large Items Shipped By Specialty Carriers

We are happy to accept returns for large items that are shipped via our specialty shippers. However, these items require a special type of return which must be coordinated through our returns department. Please contact returns@artbysamuel.com.

Order Cancellation Policy

Please submit any cancellation via your account online or email to orders@artbysameul.com within 24 hours of placing the order. Email cancellations must contain the following: First name, last name, order number, and email address. This information must be identical to the information originally submitted on your order. Please provide contact information so that we may contact you if we have questions in regards to canceling your order.

Every effort will be made to accommodate the cancellation of your order, providing your order has not been produced by our photography laboratory. In the event that a cancellation was submitted via email, and your order was produced by the photography laboratory, we will gladly provide a partial refund of 70%, minus applicable shipping costs.

We at Art by Samuel understand your concerns about the security of online transactions. Therefore, we use PayPal Pro that provides a Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology available to ensure the privacy of any information you submit through this site.

We collect information from you when you register on our site, place an order, subscribe to our newsletter, respond to a survey or fill out a form.

Note: If at any time you would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, we include detailed unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of each email.

How do we protect your information?

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you place an order or access your personal information.

We offer the use of a secure server. All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted through PayPal Pro that included Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into their payment gateway database only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential.

After a transaction, your private information (credit cards, social security numbers, financials, etc.) will not be stored on our servers and will be completely deleted from PayPal Pro after 29 business days.

Do we use cookies?
